P.S. Code Enforcement
Forgot to say that when I talked to Bill at Code Enforcement today and told him how my house could have been burned down he replied "well if it did, you could start over new and get all new stuff" then he chuckled. I asked "are you kidding"? He said" yeah insurance probably wouldn't cover it" then laughed.

wow, please keep us posted on any further dealings you have with Code Enforcement. The guy you spoke with seems to be a bit of a tool.
Wow? What about this exchange with Code Enforcement is surprising if one has read this blog? The point isn't that the author spoke with a guy who was a "tool." The "tool" behaves this way because he is allowed to by his superiors. The system is a failure from the top down. The blogger made it clear he has a long history of going through hell thanks to lax government in Tampa and Hillsborough County, and your reaction is wow, keep us posted about the phone call with Code Enforcement? Tampa is no better than Bengladesh. There are specific reasons why Bengladesh got to be a hellhole. The same reasons Hillsborough county has turned into one.
Yep, that's code enforcement in Hillsborough County. It's also the typical response you get from law enforcement and animal control in this county when you call about habitual speeders or roaming packs of dogs.
